I just sent an email to moneyfactory.info@bep.gov

Not sure if they are the go-to to ask about this, but we'll see.

If this is an actual duplicate run, it's going to be extremely hard to find matches.

Short of finding a matching pair or a FOIA request - is there any other way to confirm or disprove this being another duplicate printing?

You can set up a specific search on ebay for a serial number you are interested in, then ebay will send you an email if a note is ever posted for sale. I know, it sounds like a long shot, but I've found some birth date notes this way. Patience is key.

Dperson58566 and Mistim, can you post photos of front and back? I'm tracking the plate numbers to see if there can be any difference discerned between the two (if two) printing runs.

@Mistim ... How do you know the note is from the 1st run and not the 2nd?

"First run" for star notes refers to serial numbers being within the lower and upper limits of 0000 0001 and 0320 0000.

Whether it's the first or second printing can't be known yet. Usually there doesn't have to be such a distinction.

O JUST DISCOVERED SOMETHING WEIRD.
SIMPLY OUT OF CURIOSITY I STARTED SEARCHING REGULAR BILLS NOT STAR NOTES FROM THAT SAME SERIES THE PK K11 and what I did was instead of putting in the last letter I sent to do that with a star and I've had a couple of them come up as being printed on that same series they're just not Star notes.
I'm somewhat nude they're collecting is that normal for me I know we're looking for duplicates but I'll be looking for duplicate Star notes or duplicate serial numbers in general

LOOK THIS BILL UP IN STAR NOTES
PK01256403A JUST ADD A STAR AT THE END
I LOOKED UP A COUPLE OTHER RANDOM SERIAL NUMBERS AND THEY DIDN'T POPULATE AT ALL

I waded through the OP's use of upper and lower case letters twice and still haven't been able to grasp what they're talking about.
