It means "whoever holds this coin is doomed."

I have moved this to the Identification forum to get more eyes on the stamp and its meaning.

My Google Pixel's translate app using video aimed at the Chinese character on the coin says "BLESSING". I looked it up, and it seems correct.

Well done! I guess your Pixel camera is better than my Moto, because it came up empty.

I know it works for Latin and Cyrillic fonts because I use it to check my son's Spanish homework and translate the Russian text in spy movies.

Thanks Corbe. Lol. At least it doesn't say "Whoever holds this coin is doomed." So I've got that going for me.

I have another Chinese character counter stamp that came today. I'll post it later tonight or tomorrow.

It is the character usually transcribed as "fu". It means good luck, or good fortune. You will often find this character stamped or painted onto objects to turn them into good luck charms, and you will see it plastered all over everything if you go to a Chinese New Year celebration. As such, it is probably the "Chinese character" you are most likely to encounter at random in the West.

Would you really consider yourself lucky if you found 1 cent? My luck bar is raised a bit higher than that.
