A definite counterfeit. Not close to being genuine. Looks like it was made for a piece of jewelry.

The first thing that caught my eye is that the hole looks like it was drilled last week and you can see the cheap metal inside. Then, of course, everything else.

Along the edge looks to have a clipped off portion of metal as if it were cast into a two piece mold and excess was snipped off?

That's a good thought. I so wish newer members would use the Search box to do a little investigative work before posting their finds, but I've pretty much given up on that.
