no weird letters or symbols , everything is just worn down, but it does have a floating roof and is worth a few bucks, place in coin flip

the 1996 it is a floating roof, last two photos are not the right side of the roof is connected.
This it is not considerate variety and also not an error. Maybe in the future will be included on the die category and will become a variety because it is due of the over-polishing the die.

First photo show full steps and floating roof. OK it is not the most perfect coins and a high grade but show this. The other two (second photos) are not bad regardless the camera took, but do not seem for me same coin.

Mabey it's the camera has no depth perception I think the line my cam sees from different angles is actually going into the coin and not raised out of it same thing with the FG because I can't see that with my eyes something about the camera the same 1969 d as in the photos

I'm having the same problems taking pictures of an supposedly improperly annealed coin but instead of not having depth it gives it depth so it looks like a pitted rusted out coin instead of a shiny beautiful coin like it is

Appears to be a Dryer Coin (somewhat early stage). Coin details do not melt down in laundry dryers--it's the constant rubbing/lower-level abrasion that flattens details. Pareidolia may be in play.

Please only post ONE coin per topic, it get VERY confusing when talking about a particular coin. The OP, it appears to me, has posted at least 4 different ones so far.

Always compare with coins of the same year/mint is a good idea. The design changes and the dies are different die numbers. ODV-XXX, RDV-XXX. It would like comparing one Porsche car, with one Yugo? You have to use dates from the same master hub for that year. (Sometimes there are large and small dates on the same year, because two different master hubs were used that year.

The coin that was originally posted was damaged outside the Mint. Surface details have been pummeled and mashed down.
Error coin writer and researcher.

Sorry about the last comment I posted but it was about a comment that is no longer there and deleted so there's no context to y I posted it sorry and sorry about comparing the coins I was just trying to show how my camera acts with different angles and everything sometimes and it's hard to capture what I see and the 1969 Penny was the only other floating roof penny that I had
