Struck through dropped letters are rare occurrence and do carry a premium above the face value, but your coin's condition would not justify the cost of TPG cost. Very nice find.

It is in good condition so keep it in a slip. Search the internet to see if any have sold, especially ebay. Nice find! I have never seen one either.

Note that it is incuse. (the tops of the letters are showing the glow and on the incuse mark the glow is on the bottom of the 'y'. To me it looks like a coin transfer because of the damage on the tops of the other devices on LIBERTY. PSD from what I can see.

ERROR-REF.COM : Quote: Definition: This error type occurs when compacted die fill ("grease") falls out of a recess in the die face and onto a planchet. The plug of hardened material is then struck into the planchet, leaving an incuse impression of whatever design element the plug had molded itself to. Letters ("dropped letters") and numbers ("dropped numbers") are the most common elements duplicated in this fashion. If the plug remains next to the same die it fell out of, and if it doesn't flip over, the dropped letter/number is oriented the same way as its normal raised counterpart. If, however, the filling falls against the opposite die or flips over, the impression is mirror-image. Most dropped fillings are normally-oriented.
