Very tiny little marks on the eagle breast but I see a 67 here.

Great straight on pics...but with grading...I also enjoy seeing a slight angle pic to see if there are any bag/scuff marks...

the 98(O) almost always have average strikes which I consider this one. although your statement about N.O. strikes holds true in many cases the strikes were actually quite good especially starting in 98.

surface preservation is above average with very little marks throughout. luster is all there. eye appeal is also above average. this is a nice coin. it does have what looks like rust or rust like toning around the rims.

the coin is at least MS66 and maybe a + the coin is bean worthy. if that breast was just a hair more defined I could see it at 67 but that along with the rims probably will hold her back

A nice coin to look at. I always try to grade before seeing any responses and I was at MS65+, but the wisdom of the crowd drags me to exactly MS66, final answer.

Nice Crisp strike, The mint was Obviously running great here. Beautiful example of Anna's face......... Facial blemishes don't help. Classic New Orleans mint's Weakened Eagle's breast. Survived better than most Too. MS-66+ Min.....Jmo.

I know I'm late on this (been working 60+ hour weeks again) but I just wanted to say that is one heck of a Morgan dollar and absolutely beautiful.
