Lighting on the obverse pics makes it difficult to evaluate the fields.

This really helped me to take good pictures, better than results I've been getting with natural light. Here is a link to YouTube to see how its done, & where to get the material, very inexpensive to do.

What's going on between the R in DOLLAR and the adjacent star?

Lots of die cracks on the reverse. Rims look a bit chewed up.

MS63, or MS63 details if that's PMD by the star.

Also the R that was referenced. Tough to get a good picture looks worse in the pictures than in hand

I'm a retired elementary school teacher, so I give it a B+. Hope that's helpful.

Your last set of pics are much better. I now think it will easily grade out at 63. The face and the neck hold it back.

The stuff between the R and the Star looks like tape, or glue residue of some sort.

I wouldn't be ashamed to own it! Nice coin!

Rest in Peace

the 81(CC) should be sharp and bold. this one makes that grade
without better photos the luster appears to unbroken on both sides. you need to quit taking photos using overhead lighting.

the eye appeal is above average. surface preservation looks good. the marks on the cheek and neck look like just rub and few minor scuffs. its a solid MS64. the rims nicks and what looks like a pretty good hit between the R and star hold it back
