No opinion on the grade, but that's a whale of a strike for 1912-D. Interesting seeing the die chip on an EMDS die, too. Nice coin!

Again without looking at responses, wow! That's really awesome! Congratulations!
I would have put this in the 64/65 category if not for the smallest of signs of wear. Bow tie and cheek. I hope for you sake I am wrong!

AU55 with minor obverse rim issues. Obvious signs of very light circulation .

I'm going to say AU55 although AU58 wouldn't surprise me.

Although it likely saw very limited circulation I imagine a TPG giving it a Choice Mint State grade. MS64BN would be my guesstimate.

Quote: MS64BN would be my guesstimate. If you could see it in hand, you'd be spot on and comfortable with that grade. That's exactly where I am. This coin has no wear.

Just learning. IMO it is MS66 BN It is probably AU 55 because it doesn't have what I think they mean by luster.

A touch of wear it appears, especially based on the rims. Eye appealing coin for the date and mint mark for sure. I'd say au58, but if it goes ms 64bn isn't far fetched.
How's the luster in hand? It looks pretty minimal in the cartwheel department in the photos.
