Quote: What can you actually buy with a cent? a nickel or a dime? A tiny piece of candy at most. Even a quarter buys you practically nothing. Coins have other practical uses. You can use them as paperweights or as exercise weights. It's not what you can buy with coins, but rather how much credit you can get back in change. Boxes of coins can be re-exchanged at the bank for cash or other boxes of coins.

None. I collect them all. Now, had you asked, "What Is Your Least Favorite US Coin Denomination that is currently minted for circulation?" then we all know the number one answer to that is the worthless Zincoln!

In my opinion, the clad dime is even more worthless than the zinc penny.

I took a coffee can full of these "worthless" cents, nickels and dimes to the bank the other day and put almost $200 in my bank account. Just sayin'...

The four dollar gold Stella is my least favorite coin denomination and I refuse to have one in my collection. In fact, if I were given one, I'd probably just throw it in the trash! Feel free to test me on that.

A fake gold stella or a real gold stella?
Gold is gold as long as it is gold.

In examining the question, "least favorite", I chose the cent. Not that I dislike any of the designs, if this makes sense. And I see I'm not alone looking at the poll results thus far, oddly my favorite is a close second on the list.

Nickel! Just don't see the purpose anymore; nickel tends to get grungy in circulation; weak designs since 1938.
