Thanks guys. I'll post an in hand pick later or tomorrow. This imo is a great representation of the coin. I sent it in just because of the toning and eye appeal.
Rest in Peace

Here's a couple of in hand photos. I couldn't capture the toning as well as them.

I think they gave this coin a boost due to eye appeal. It looks great in hand.

That's a beauty of a coin, Will. I think they called it a MS66RD. You said they gave you five different Trueview images to choose from? I didn't know they did that. Did you pay more than the $5 for the trueview/gold shield?

I personally am a fan of trueview, it adds a level of security to the certificate as well.

Did I miss something? A grade was never posted for the coin or was it?

Yes! That's a toner/eye appeal bump! And I'd given up hope lately.

when I think 66 I'm thinking a coin that has a solid strike and less marks, abrasions, discoloration than a 65 as well as excellent eye appeal. I just can get this coin there. throw out the TV photos as one cant grade from those. your in hand photos I see the following

obv
carbon spot on head
minor marks on shoulder
slight discoloration area in front of chin/mouth
small scratch in front of forhead

Rev
weak strike on top left stock
marks and ticks across "ON" in ONE
marks and ticks across "EN" in CENT
marks and ticks across "M" in AMERICA
spotting in left field
field discoloration in the ONE area
minor tick after last "A" in AMERICA
weak "EU" but I think that could be grease strike through or wearing die in that area

yes these are nit picky but I think enough to keep it short of 66. I was at 65 I'm still at 65 but I would be ok with a 65+
