haha yeah I walked away from my 2021 Morgan problem. This coin does look nice in good light.
The dark colors on the obverse are amplified by the lighting I think and more of a darker peach color in hand.

That first 76S looks nice but I suspect it will hammer quite a bit higher.
I will say this coin looks much nicer in hand than these do though.
Plus this was more of a trade to get out of the 2021 Morgan's than anything and it does look nice.

I have some concerns about the example being genuine. The denticles to the left of the date and above liberty appear to be off. Solid strike on stars, but the branch has a weak strike. The date has 55 die pairs. The rare mini s is in the correct position, but I could not find a genuine example that matched the date position with the mini s. I am not sure how many die pairs were used with the mini s.

here is a photo of the break on my coin and front and back from the example on the SSDC Registry
Good match . Same details on the denticles .

Your coin is genuine. I found a NGC MS65 mini s with the same date position and denticles weakness.

Mottled surfaces detract considerably on the OP's original example, looks like a details coin.

Its a nice example in hand as well.
Doubt this is a details coin. Highly doubt It would not be if it where a Morgan.

Obverse just shy of AU-50, reverse AU-53, net AU-50, straight grade. The obverse surface splotching is distracting, but superficial. This coin might be a good candidate for conservation. The contact marks are grade appropriate.

i see an AU50 obv, AU53 reverse. the coin may grade straight at AU50 but surface preservation is on the low end with hits, marks & scratches across most surfaces. it may be candidate for preservation which will help a little. not one I would consider if I was in the market for one but thats just me

I don't know when I saw her the first thing I thought was she was a beauty . Lots of luster and very few big hits .to each there own I guess . I will say she is a lot nicer in hand as far as eye appeal than I can catch with my I phone .
