Silver coin of 50$ issued for Cook Islands in 1990 shows Chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes). Note, the coin capsule was opened hence the oxidation stains and the fingerprints.

Thank you very much, IndianGoldEagle, for sharing the great Gorilla Congo coins, they are beautiful!

I have several silver coins show Gorillas and other monkeys. All are proofs inside capsules. Any idea how can I post them? I tried to scan them, but I got very poor and dimmed scans.

I am not the biggest fan of NCLT, but those Congo Gorilla coins are beautiful, the quality of the image is stunning!

I really just go "ape" over them.
