 Run away if these offers are from TV Plus, for $340 you can get a full roll of 20 2009s. They're just bullion but at least you're getting more for your money. |

Honestly I think American eagles are one of the modern bullion coins that you should buy ungraded. Most of them are in great shape right out of the tube and would be a 67 to 70. The non-tubed mint packaged eagles are normally even in better shape. I can not say I do not have one or two early release eagle slabs ..lol but if I could go back I probably would have just bought them raw. It will save you money instead of paying the overpriced slabbed ones, but that is just my opinion. :)

I think that early release is just a money gimmick. I will not pay any more for them.

Only thing I would add by looking at the website a few times is Stay Away from govmint.com There prices are higher than RedBook prices |

If you mean actually investing this would not be a good buy.If you like Eagles buy a stack of bullion issues plus some proofs etc. from the mint. The slab wont do anything for you.
