Looks like an AU-58, but photos are not large enough or bright enough to tell for sure.

Thank you everyone. I find a decent amount of American coins here, both pre-65 and random pocket change. The prices are all over the place. Morgan dollars run about 30 Euro; Peace dollars the same. I bought two '64 Kennedys and a '37 Liberty Half for 6.95 each yesterday, but also saw a clad Eisenhower dollar, '68 Kennedy, and no-date Buffalo nickel in a lot for 30 Euro. I also find bags of post - 65 change . . . often at stupid prices, ie 3 X face.

@Roma. Sarebbe mio piacere per ti aiutar'ci. I will switch to English for the best of this community. You have an normal Type A RDV-001. The coin show is UN. A few knots on the rims due to transport and bags. The 1957-D is characterized by a weak strike. What it is funny is: You has the Observe of 1945 Design (common for this year) but you has the Reverse of the anvil from 1932 to 1938. Interesting. A boric acid boiled will bring back the luster and please no polishing.

I will say for here in N. America MS62-63.in Italy "Fior del Conio"

Per me c'e un grande piaccere di veder'ci uno dei concitadini sonno la. Che Dio ti protege.

well, I would be visiting that store on regular basis...like every day

the second coin photos are a little small. try this when taking them.

1. turn off flash
2. place coin on flat surface with indirect natural light. maybe a window sill in a cloudy day
3. move phone about 3in from coin
4. zoom in using you fingers until the coin comes into focus
5. hold phone steady. if you cant then place something on either side of the coin at that distance and lay phone on top. this will hold it steady and allow you to zoom and take the photo without any blurring

this one looks UNC. without larger photos and a little more clear it could be AU58 or MS63/64
Rest in Peace

2nd coin is virtually flawless as far as it's condition goes . Grade wise In my opinion is a 64+ . The coin is clean as can be ; Breast feathers are right up there ,wing tips don't get much better same with tail feathers . The only issue might be his hair might be a little weak but that's not from wear ; It does not alter grade .

Thank you all again. I think the first coin will go in my quarter roll... The second in a capsule as my type set coin.

What are UN coins?

UN come from Uncirculated coins. FDC in Italy and France, STG in Germany, MS in USA and Canada and UNC in Australia, to give you some examples.

From the photos provided is hard to pronounce if you has the FS-501 or FS-901 variety.

Ok... Thank you all again... For some reason I connected 'UN' with United Nations and not uncirculated... Thought I was missing something.

I'll head back to that shop this weekend. I often find that unknowing collectors (or children of unknowing collectors) sell on consignment at these shops in drips and drabs...
