My original write-up at time of purchase in 2014. https://thehawaiiananumismatist.com...edal-2m-199/ Only 55 were struck and was a free giveaway. commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12319 Posts	Posted 10/19/2022 11:26 am Here's a club medal from the Raleigh (NC) Coin Club. Its obverse is modeled after the 1937 Roanoke Colony Memorial commemorative half dollar. The "1954" on the medal's obverse represents the club's year of founding; the "1792" on the reverse represents Raleigh's year of establishment. Raleigh's nickname is "City of Oaks."
