I'll say MS-65. Very nice.

typical strong strike for the year. surface preservation is about 3.5-4 out of 5 due to the obv. there is some pretty good railroad hits especially at the M in UNUM. luster 4 out 5 and eye appeal 4 out 5
the coin falls in the high MS64 low MS65 box. I think the obv holds it to MS64 with just too many marks in the fields

Thanks for the input so far. Adding additional photos shot morning natural light, at higher angle. These show the color much better.

Just a photography tip, always photograph coins from above straight down. Lay the coin on a cork and use a blue or black card background. Lifting the coin like this allows the camera to properly focus on the coin and blurs the background. Also, play around with the direction you put your light (45 degrees works best for me) or see what it is like using day light.

64, PL rev There is a pretty noticeable denticle mark from another coin's edge at the M in UNUM and another mark below PL in PLURIBUS

new photos I think the reverse might be strong enough pull a 64 but the obverse imo is closer to MS63.

Quote: 64, PL rev @paralyse, I was thinking it might have been PL when I first posted. So now, with additional images, asking if this coin is truly PL. First 2 photos are taken with a black foreground, surrounding the camera lens, shot at 7 1/2" distance from the coin, natural morning light, positioned in front of a window. The 3rd image below, showing reverse, is evening light, same window, same setup except, LED lighting under the camara lens, shot 4" from the coin, which helped generate the darker blue background. So now, the question is; could it be graded as PL by TPG, or does the Obverse hold it back?

looks like it could pull a PL designation. its always difficult using photos without any depth of field comparison

PL is degree of cameo contrast I think reverse is fully PL, obverse doesn't quite get there
