Hello @Half and @Jimjumper, you are welcome! Glad the website helped you a lot! Our @Molydeli finally got your packages! So pleased by this news!

@loonielewy, do you have a customs declaration form with a barcode? If so, you can use the barcode as tracking number depending on country. Do try it on the Turkish website to see if it works? Hopefully it will tell you where your package is at?

@Colhand1, your card with small notes might be very slow in coming.

I wholeheartedly agreed with @nickelsearcher about our Santa/rggoodie!
Heaps of thanks for your amazing coordination and organisation with 2022 Santa/Holiday Exchange! This year I really enjoyed seeing everyone getting their presents and it went so well.

@Molydeli, we are sending our thoughts and prayers with you and your countrymen during this difficult time. I do hope things will get better with time. rggoodie had stated he will keep this post open until the end of this month. So, you would have plenty of time!

So happy to see that our packages reached you this time and made up for several years of missing mail pieces!!

Did the same as mcshilling, tucked them in a card and slapped a $7 stamp on it. Stamp was double the coins face, I'm not out much. Just glad to have played a part. Who knows, they may show up. Glad to see molydeii is ok. Hard times for sure.

I knew if I was patient, the package still had a chance. It was mailed on 12 Dec. so its been traveling for a while! Nice to hear it made it. Its always been more important to give something than to get. I had no idea that Molydeii had never received anything. It was just another CCF Christmas gift to send. Merry Christmas, especially Molydeii (he's gonna need it I think) and to the whole forum. I'm already looking forward to 2023!

I did the same thing. Sent mine to Molydeii as a card. A few pieces of currency. More importantly, Molydeii I am praying for you and your family.

Dear everyone,

I'm back home now and spent my evening opening up some beautiful gifts that was sent to me. I got much more than I did ever deserve this year. I would like to say thanks to rggoodie, Santa, and to all of you guys who spent time, money and efforts to send me something. Please do not do that again as I'm embarrassed towards the community this year. My culture here says we should give back as much as we take from the community. Not that people care for those kind of customs anymore but I"m one that cares.

So far this year I received five packages. All were tracked mail. Unfortunately I haven't yet to receive anything untracked. I apologise on behalf of the recently privatized (sold to a private company) Turkish postal services. I knew they were inadequate to a degree but this year they proved to be a total losers.

I will post pictures one by one. Those are lovely coins, a card and a banknote from @Carrigna. Thank you so much,!

These are very generous gifts from @Jimjumper. First 2022 US coins I ever see om hand! I like half dollars in US currency. The banknotes are from Turkey, one is a late 1950s 2 1/2 Lira, and the other is a wartime Ottoman quarter lira. Beautiful coins and currency.

The 1970s stamped coin sets, I never seen any of those before. Acmonital 1970s Turkish coins are relatively hard to come by as they had seen a lot of circulation back then.

And finally a nice book with two pretty bills inside! Thank you a bunch @Half for those and for paying a $60 fortune for mailing those to me! I knew about star notes of the US, but never had one before! The older dollar note is in great condition. A nice addition to my world items folder.

And all the others who mailed me something. I thank you all very much for that. I do not mind if I receive them or not. It is the thought that matters. I consider they are received and I got much more than I deserved. Recently, we are going through some very dark times here. Much to be said about the earthquake but here is not the place for doing that. I hope you all had some lovely Christmasses and wish all of you a happy, healthy 2023. Best wishes from halfway around the world.

As are all the senders from this community. You should not feel embarrassed, we were just wearing the other shoe, and giving back.

Quite pleased that our Molydeli got many presents this round!

Jimjumper truly impressed me with his choices! I would never thought about getting such banknotes. Well-done!!

Cool book on US coins! Always a big plus for any good ol' US dollar bills! I once received $50 bill with a star! But I had to spend it as I have no way of paying a bill without avoiding the usage of a credit card.

Hear, hear!! I 100% wholeheartedly agreed with molydeli and loonielewy about giving back to the community. I strongly believe in reciprocation but it is slowly dying practice, I think.

Well, once again, let's give our thanks to our rggoodie for coordinating a great 2022 Secret Santa Exchange! I honestly can say that this has to be one of the best exchanges in the years!
Not only that, I also thank everyone here for making this year great and exciting yet fun!

See you next Secret Santa Exchange!! Stay well and be safe, everyone, please!
