Looks genuine but has been harshly cleaned making it a details coin.

It's listed as a token with a question mark. I don't trust this auction house.

I'm not familiar if there are more varieties than just stem or no stem for this year but the cross on the 4 should be completely vertical not bent. the right tail of the bow is too close to the 200 and the 1 looks funky in the denomination. several of the berries are not positioned correctly near their respective leaves . to me the coin is suspicious but it may be a different die

The crosslet 4 is a variety as is the bows on the wreath.

Authentic coin that's been polished. The auction house seems like they've never heard of a Half Cent before.

There is a whole family of struck counterfeits based off the 1804 Half Cent and I certainly wouldn't buy one raw off of HiBid. Here's a Jack Young article on these. https://coinweek.com/counterfeits/s...-half-cents/

Recent Chinese fake based on a C-6 1804 Half Cent; matches the 1st ones in my article @kbbpll cited. The spike was blunted off in the die to strike other dates. The reverse die breaks of the early die state were partially removed as well. This auction venue has had its share of documented fakes for sale...
