KY, please keep offending me! I love your coins and posts brother - THANKS for posting them all!!!

I love these challenges from just a couple of pictures. Slabbed coins can make fodder for discussion - last I checked this is a discussion forum.

To KY: I do 'it a tapping mistake on the word : "compression's.: instead of "comprehensive".

Please capitalize my name here because it is an acronym and not a noun.

Sorry for my English not my first language. I speak 5 and sometimes I think in other, according with the time and my environment at a determinate place or time.

Please explain me the word " preposterous" because me I know to be
Quote:
mid 16th cent.: from Latin praeposterus (from prae 'before' + posterus 'coming after') + -ous.
.

The word "VS" (versus)
Quote:
Meaning of versus in English. used to say that one team or person is competing against another:
mean in your context " competition", which do not have place here. Here it is share of the knowledge (anyone on his specialty), It is a place of learning and also share new discoveries in this hobby field.

I like challenges but not competitions in this field.

In order to clarify why VS PCGS is not a good example: The really fact is that the company at this moment miss really specialists. They are No.1 in marketing and No.5 in accuracy after VSS, ANACS, ICG and PGS.

So sorry to disturb you. All my life I wrote or say 3, 4 or 5 worlds with the meaning of 3 or four lines, scientific way to explain. So really sorry.

OK "Coin" I am sorry, I will not look anymore at this type of posting titles which put me in competition. I also want to say that a challenge with the True View photos is not good. I know this software and in PC's will never show the reality. This software it is a high end-to-end platform for clarity, three dimensional and brightness. Developed by Intel with the Matrox video software and special video cards. Damage we can not afford this technology and software for now in all PC.

I promise just ignore those titles even I will loose some coins which come in the strait line with my studies.

@SpeedDemonND: You say Nice, me I will say "superb coin" if I look at age and the minting process. (collector view)

although I agree with your statement regarding trueview. grading from trueview helps to enhance knowledge of how photos of any type can alter the original coin. many coins collectors are looking to purchase today have been slabbed so its imperative that one needs to be able to assess a coin from any type of photo.

one tip when grading trueview photos is to assess what you see and in almost all cases drop the grade by a full point. its not always correct but in many instances it will serve you well. remember buy the coin not the slab so you need to be able assess that coin so that you are not overpaying for it regardless of the slab grade

I don't have any photos prior to submission, bought these already slabbed. Though I was sent videos, those are more of a pain to post.

My 2 cents: grading from ANY (sorry if I offend anyone with all CAPS) type of 2 dimensional image will ALWAYS leave room for error. When I post an image of a coin I try to capture as many of the imperfections, color, etc. as accurately as possible, but there will always be features not captured UNLESS the coin is in hand. So really, no matter how accurate we "feel" someone's photographs are, we have nothing to compare them to because we haven't seen them in hand.

There is NEVER a definitive answer to grade, it's an opinion, and subjective. So it's irrelevant if it's vs. PCGS, NGC, ANACS, etc. It's a fun exercise to evaluate a coin to the best of your ability and see how close it is to an opinion.

Nice coin D, I know the grade so can't contribute anything more than yet another opinion
