I won a henning nickel in a contest (thanks coin frog) and the only company that slabbed it was ICG.

You have submit it as a token.

someone suggested I put it in acetone to remove the black mark on the reverse, is that a good idea?

When you submit to ICG make sure to request the "Educational Slab" for counterfeits.

Yeah I have one too. When my Father was around and collecting, he found a nice one. I sent it to ANACS a year ago and they sent it back. Would not encapsulate it.

I was planning to send a couple in also, 2 '44s one with the looped R and one without.

Which one would you consider to be a type 1 the looped
