1991 D Mint Roosevelt Dime "Is That A G I See?"

That's exactly how I got started collecting coins, Dad gave me a "funny penny" he got in change at the hardware store when I was around 9 or 10. I saved it in a little box, and then added/kept any other strange looking coins as I came across them in change over the years, Canadian cents, wheat cents, etc. Ya never know where that one little coin can lead to. By the time I was 15 I was becoming a serious collector and buying older coins from a coin shop.

There's no way I would lose sight of this coin, it was a Lil sarcasm to "yep that's a G" comment.i am very much a beginner to all this so I'm sure you can picture the pile of "what ifs " that I got going on .. lol
