Wow, very sad. I hope the owners are reimbursed fair market value for the losses if they don't recover them. When I've sent coins back for refund due to scratches or whatever, I've always added extra insurance in case...so far nothing has disappeared.

Has this been reported ANYWHERE else? Can't find the original FB post, nothing in NCIC, no news articles...

I just sent a message to the ANA. Since it's Sunday I may or may not hear back from them until tomorrow. We'll see. This is all very interesting. I'll keep an eye out for more info. Edited by dsking

I haven't heard back from the ANA yet. I'm beginning to wonder if the coins were found. I'll certainly let the CCF know if I ever find out anything new. |
