Now that's a gaudy and hilariously obvious counterstamp.

Hilarious - Well, you can now say you found a 1909-S VDB searching coins forevermore and then whip it out to get a laugh at a show or club! This would make an excellent gift or to play jokes on coin roll hunters, perhaps would be a good seller on ebay for that reason but of course eventually might be too many and get on the nerves of coinfrog and john1 especially when they are posted here as to whether its valuable And of course chafemasterj is going...

The date isn't even - would that make it an error or a variety? Also this would not qualify as an OMM but rather a dual mint cent. (Large S - Small D)

YOU FOUND ONE!!! That's amazing. I made 10 of those nearly 35 years ago. I've made a lot since then. Usually nickels, dimes and quarters. Throw a few in my pocket and spend them as I go. Here's a really rare one for you., .,and of course this ultra "RARE" injin head. They started out life in Vermont, what state did you find it in?

Looks like something that used to show up in White Elephant auctions at a coin club I belonged to in the 70's.
