Early on, I had found over eighty "W" quarters by searching through one or two $500.00 boxes of quarters per week.
As of late I have only found two out of approximately $5,000.00 (ten boxes or 20,000 quarters).
You were indeed fortunate to find one in pocket change. Congratulations.

Excellent! I still find one or two every 2-3 months in rolls. In all, I have about 32-33 of them--stopped counting at 25. When they were first coming out I was finding them in fresh Loomis rolls--all in the MS62-65 range.

Nice find!! I found my first one in January myself while roll hunting. I'm generally not a fan of manufactured rarities, but that doesn't make them any less fun to come across!
