In defense of Rick (Tomaska), He is the one I trust most of the TV coin hucksters. Although as of late he is becoming more of a shyster all the time. It really boils down to buyer beware. There is some good stuff of his shows.IMHO. John1

I like watching these guys, I usually learn some thing I did not know about a coin, but would never buy from them

$1240 for 3/4 oz of gold seemed rather expensive at the time. $3395 is insane in any market.

I resubscribed last year after a several year hiatus and the delivery time is awful. I once received an issue by the cover date, the rest always around a week late, if it came at all. To keep on topic, pretty sure my Aunt bought coins from some of these hucksters. She would watch QVC and HSN religiously.

I would not put Ricks' show in the same category as HSN and QVC. John1

Not quite understanding your comment, sorry. Rick Tomaska is his name and of the TV coin slingers I trust him the most. He has his own company and was a big part of PCGS way back in the beginning of PCGS. Rick is the "cameo" guy. John1

He piles on deceptive statistics to make common Morgans look rare.
I own a few R6 coins. They were genuinely had to find for prices I could afford. Rick's definition of rarity is R1. Coins so common that he can sell an unlimited number to his TV audience.
