VG8, choice in the grade. This coin would sell super fast, it's a beautiful problem-free circulated key date coin. Myself (and many others) would love to have this for an upgrade.
I still need a 1909-S, finding a problem-free lower grade (VG-F) circulated example at a price that's not ridiculously overinflated is exceptionally tough.

Quote: I think you'd be very lucky to get $850. I'd put raw value closer to $700+/-. IMO

I couldn't get anyone to bid at 850 so I did a buy it now/best offer and ended up taking an 875.00 offer. The guy I sold it to sells slabbed coins so I'm sure we will all find out what it ends up grading. I imagine he will end up selling it north of a thousand.

I'm in the VG-8 to VG-10 range as well. Yes, we look at the "Liberty" on IHC's but, with the entirety of the coin, I raised the grade to VG. Value is definitely North of $500 by quite a bit. Nice '77!

Nice, I think you did well at $875. Did you a bit of looking, prices are all over the place, especially raw, but majority have seen price increases in the last 6-12 months. Crazy. Quote: I imagine he will end up selling it north of a thousand Guess that will depend on what it grades. Keep us posted if you find his grading results

Oh believe me, I know that. Well I think everyone knows that. Wish I didn't have to pay fees but it is what it is.
