Congratulations. I've served in that capacity twice. If it's within the realm of affordability (it might not be if you're paying for a wedding) how about a gold coin dated 1993?

Sorry for your and her loss on this very special occasion but her Mom will be with her in many ways. Hopefully, there will be uplifting stories to share about her Mom that will brighten your daughter's day and lift her spirits.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.

Went to the bank this morning to exchange a bunch of rolled coins for folding money. As I'm driving away, a dimwit back her truck into the right rear door and quarter panel of my sedan. . .
Hopefully not an omen of things to come.

Congratulations! The fleeting thought you had when first holding your daughter is one I am sure many new dad have had. I do like how you and your daughter are weaving into the ceremony things that are important to you or have some special symbolism/memory.

Grandson arrived yesterday. Mom and baby doing fine. First & Middle names: Thomas Scott. I suppose he'll go by "Tommy."
