Can't tell much from these images. You could probably get better shots if you take the coin out of the 2X2.

Looks like there might be a touch of wear on the high points. The color seems too good to be true, especially since there is no visible luster. My call based on what I can see is AU detail, cleaned and recolored.

if you are using a phone try this

1. if coin is in holder, remove coin from holder if possible
2. turn off flash
3. place coin on flat surface with indirect natural light. maybe a window sill in a cloudy day. Use a black or white background to avoid any reflective color
4. move phone about 3in from coin
5. zoom in using your fingers until the coin comes into focus and fills the cameras view finder. if your phone has a portrait selection use that and then press and hold on the coin in the view finder to AF lock it
6. hold phone steady. if you can't then place something on either side of the coin (like books) at that distance and lay phone between them. this will hold it steady and allow you to zoom and take the photo without any blurring

Yes, that color would seem unlikely given the wear that's visible. If the pics are faithful, I see a lot more than "a touch" of wear, especially on the obverse.

The obverse (shield side -- many people get confused with these coins) strike is pretty unusual. It's not a likely counterfeit target, but you nonetheless might consider weighing the coin.

looks to be cleaned for sure, recolored or at least messed with in the color area. An RPD as well? Can't tell from the photos but it looks like one, not a big deal as there are a lot of RPDs in the 1864LM Two Cent Pieces and only a few have any real price increase and desirability over others.
