In 1974, the government began an anti-trust suit against AT&T, sometimes known as "Ma Bell." Although the case would take eight years to finally settle, Ma Bell could see the writing on the wall and began to capitalize its subsidiaries, with the intent to divest them into the Baby Bells, which eventually happened in the 1980s. This resulted in a lot of bonds being issued — here are a few of them.

My Father has an early Northwestern Bell Telephone, stock certificate ... I need to get it on here. Thanks for sharing.

Towards the top of this thread I posted American Cable & Radio Corp. That certificate was unfortunately punched cancelled through the vignette. But I was able to find a replacement that's cancelled elsewhere and it makes a big difference.

This stock from the Tri-State Telephone & Telegraph Co. of Maine has an unusual vignette design that features an old-style telephone.
