Quote: Bit the bullet :-) Congrats! Great tool for the $ IMO. I can't see you having any regrets. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask.

Graded coin I'm feeling better about the lighting. I guess there will always be some sharpness lost when taking a photo through plastic, vs a raw coin.

Images look fantastic. Really have no complaints with my current 24MP other than image granularity when zooming in. I feel like I have my lighting dialed in so swapping scopes should only require minor adjustments.

Got it, starting to play. Shocked that it does not have digital zoom for that kinda money. Images are crisp tho.

I can use the zoom feature on mine with the left & right arrow button on the remote, but only while using it without being wired to my computer. I have only tried hooking mine up to the computer using the USB, I was wondering if I could use the zoom feature with using the HDMI connection. I may give that a try.

Thanks, must have missed that in the manual. Finicky little bugger but I'm getting it dialed in.

I changed out my webcam/camera. I went from 1080p to 2k. I like this camera for full holder photos, luster photos, some close-ups. I just snapped these, I can probably do better with the focus in a day or two.

I changed my background and brought in more light. I think the total dark background helps with photo sharpness. Also, I used the manual focus. Full holder shots.

Overall happy with this scope as well. It is super finicky with lighting and does not have enough configuration flexibility. I also hate the fact that you cannot toggle the capture screen into a 1x1 or 4x3 image, it just defaults to a 16x9. So much wasted space captured with pics.

HP your 1881 Morgan obv/rev look fairly good as far as lighting. Have you taken a look at the sharpen feature in the set up menu? Running it to 100% has given me a lot crisper image. Maybe you could sharpen it up a bit using that tweak?

This is what I've been able to come up with using the microscope with a little help from my graphics software, Gimp. Original file was huge 9600 x 5400 Pixels (51.84 MPixels) (16:9). This is same coin using my Canon Rebel t5 which is 18 MP
