Nope, I'd be too slow.

It took me three days, from figuring out how to crack the code, to actually cracking it. A true Mensoid would've done it in minutes.

I'm not a member of Mensa even though I meet their entrance requirements & I didn't figure it out in minutes.

Well done Sap. I thought you might be the one to come up with the goods.

I had the word "there" figured out, but was stumped from there. The first three words end in "re", but the numbers are 24-9, 27-12, 23-8, so I was having trouble extrapolating. I tried a Vigenere Cipher. I thought of a "play fair" but never saw a play fair using numbers. So I was still in the process of using addition and subtraction but just never got as far as Sap.

GREAT JOB!

Something as simple as subtracting the first number from all the other numbers.

My 250th post contest was a Vigenere Cipher.

You can see it here: https://goccf.com/t/43873

Once you have the key word, breaking it is fairly easy. It looks really complicated, but in the end, is quite easy.

Wow...nice work sap. I tried a similar approach as you, but when I looked at my worksheet, I apparently only copied about half of the code for some reason...lol. Congrats on winning.

Congratulations Sap, I came back today to get the next clue only to find it was solved already. Hummm, what happen to a clue on each 5th day LOL. Great effort there. I'm glad I at least worked out the 0 was mostly neutral.

Received my prize, safe and sound - and I didn't have a 1926 Peace dollar, either!

Thanks again.
