Here's a couple more: It has not been certified, but it has been cleaned to bring out its natural shine. The absence of a Mint mark adds to its uniqueness and collectibility (sic). The coin was struck at an unknown Mint location, adding to its mysterious appeal. ( no mint markLincoln Cent)

In some fields, like British coins and tokens, you really can't identify varieties -- and therefore "values" -- without knowing about the edge and die rotation. I hate buying duplicates into my collection, so I'm "contacting sellers" several times a month to nail down such details.

This sort of AI spam, and especially the stupidly high prices on ebay for common cheap coins, threatens to make the whole site look like a cheap scammer's paradise of pure junk.
I sell a range of products on ebay, including coins and banknotes, and have never used ebay's AI. It makes all listings sound like they're posted by a used car salesman.
I don't use Facebook Marketplace as honestly, the coins section in my area is mostly junk at extremely high prices and a mountain of counterfeits. I'd hate to see ebay descending into something like this.

It's been that way for years, the AI just makes stupid more stupid.
There is a lot of overpriced junk on ebay. Equally, there are some bargains - but you have to look at a lot of clowns to find Prince Charming. It's just how much time do you want to waste...

AI is the hot new thing and everyone is scrambling to get in as fast as they can. Quality, Fast, Cheap... pick two... and the first one is usually the one not picked. I doubt they are curating the best descriptions or that they have robust processes to weed out the rubbish, so I will not assume only quality information is going in.
I just found out about this AI thing. All I kept thinking is what is going on and why are all the descriptions by different sellers oddly weird. Good grief.
CASMAN, after you read enough AI coin descriptions they start jumping out at you. "This coin has not been certified, adding to its exclusivity and charm." "Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this one-of-a-kind piece to your collection." 225756034132 1912 Wheat cent Lamination Error Xf Unique Stunning Coin S/226 ($42.49 + shipping)

I posted this a week ago, another topic, demonstrating my disdain for ebay's A I program, & the concept of "A I" in general ... (not a fan ... ) ...I took it down after a few days ... it should still be listed in my "completed Listings" ...
