Yes it is fake but it may look nice in a belt buckle or pendant since you are a jeweler providing that you disclose that it is a reproduction.

Off center bust only used on 1795; reverse is from the 1795 as well.

Thank You Everyone!! For the welcome and the help.I did not buy this coin but am offered coins often in my travels. I was traveling through Morocco for 3 months and there are alot of coins there! Old Moroccan coins are used often in Berber/Amazigh jewelry, but there are many foreign coins there as well and many coin collectors. When my clients come across American coins they ask me about them, however I do not have the expertise. Hopefully I will come across some great authentic ones!

If Morocco is anything like SE Asia, some vendors in markets have bins full of these things. You have to be wary. As with gems, they'll go through all sorts of sales pitch stuff to demonstrate they're "real" and you will never get any of them to admit that they're fake. I'm sure there are reputable dealers too though.
