Here's the original packaging for the 2023 Silver Proof Set. Because I bought it over the counter, I will never receive a replacement/corrected box.

Thanks for posting the updated packaging @hokiefan. Maybe I will request the new box from the U.S. Mint.

I wonder why they changed the image.
Because the Bessie Coleman in the original image is not the Bessie Coleman being honored on the quarter.

I just received my updated Silver and Clad boxes today. I also noticed the picture of the penny on both the original and updated packaging shows a 2022 penny, not a 2023. so there is still an error.

Thanks for the welcome jbuck.

Dearborn - I sent an email to the mint customer service explaining the penny issue and just received a response. It doesn't appear they are planning to do anything about it.

This letter is in response to your recent correspondence to the United States Mint.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Despite the image, the set does, in fact, include a 2023 dated penny. The Mint is currently reviewing our internal processes and putting procedures in place to correct this oversight in the future.

We appreciate you taking the time to notify us that you enjoy the updated proof boxes reflecting the change in pictures on the reverse.

We apologize for any issues, inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.

Subject: Updated packaging for 2023 Silver and Clad Proof sets

Thank you for the updated proof boxes reflecting the change in pictures on the reverse. I noted though the penny on both the original packaging and the updated packaging shows a 2022 penny and not what is in the set (2023).

I finally got my replacement boxes for the silver and clad sets. Not that it matters, the quarters are now in the Dansco. I will just store the new ones with the old.

I got mine a few weeks ago ones for my OGP AND ones for the ones I broke out for my Dansco albums - so I have extra (one each) for the full proof and silver proof set.
