@how, you had posted to this thread previously (earlier today), so I've merged your new thread with this one.

JBuck my post above is regarding the gold version of the Liberty & Britannia issue. It's not clear because I originally posted this as a new topic with the header explaining I was posting about the gold coin, but apparently it was moved to this topic as redundant I guess. I checked in my "tools," but found no listing for my original post, nor have I received an advisory telling me it was moved, but I'm not complaining.

Ah sorry, my bad. I didn't realize that this thread was focused on the silver ones but your recent new thread was about the gold ones. Do you want me to split this back into a separate topic?

No problem. Leave it as is. I was just wondering if anyone else had funds withdrawn recently to cover purchase price, meaning we can probably expect the gold coins to arrive soon.

This topic is for the silver medals and gold coins. It is just that, until now, no one has showed any interest in the gold! It is a bit pricey for most.

My two coins just arrived. As jbuck just mentioned, mine are Ag. Way too much for gold right now!
They look good. I'll send them off to be graded along with the next silver Eagle subscription later this summer.

My silver medal arrived on Wednesday the 15th and is quite nice, case and all. I also have the British one-ounce proof and bullion issues for this collaboration.

Got an email from the mint that my gold Liberty & Britannia coin was being shipped. Subsequent email yesterday advised that my coin would arrive today (Saturday 5/18) before 6 p.m. Now I'm housebound as I'm sure as soon as I leave to run a quick 10 minute errand, that's when it will arrive and instead of a coin I'll receive a notice that it's being taken back to the post office, but they'll try again. I will drive to the post office on Monday to get the package only to be told that it's "out for delivery." When I get back home there will be a notice on the door advising they attempted delivery, for 2nd time, when I was at the post office (something like this has actually happened to me in the past).

2:05 p.m., I'm finally free as the coin arrived. The coin is beautiful, but for the premium they charged I think they could have sprung for better packaging. It's alright, but...meh.

Congrats Howell! I've had that happen me too: the one time I slip out all day and they come around the corner to leave the orange sticky on my door.

Quote: It's alright, but...meh. How does it compare to the silver I posted earlier? http://goccf.com/t/459000&whichpage=5#4055636I actually like the OGP. Much better than the recent Morgan/Peace holders.

These still appear to be for sale on the mint website.
