I don't have a mint account and I don't order from the mint. I have all the coins I've wanted from the mint by going out and looking for them. I get to see them in hand before I buy and many times at a better price. I used to use the mint as a bit of a reference site but I don't do that anymore either.

I used to buy directly from the mint - before their premium customer stuff happened; But I stopped buying directly from the mint when I showed up one day after work to a package CLEARLY from the Royal Canadian Mint was sitting on my doorstep... it was just asking to be stolen - thank goodness it wasn't (it was mostly rolls of coins). Most of my collection is from pocket change, but I do like the 'uncirculated' sets - or what ever they change the name to for that year...

Quote: Are all coins already in circulation? They must be. Someone out in BC is selling circulation KCIII Twoonie rolls, and I saw 25 and 10 cent circulation rolls for sale. All on ebay. Unfortunately, out here in QC we always seem to be the last to get any new circulation coins, and circulation mint rolls are few and far between. I've been to my banks over the past few weeks and they couldn't help.

I have found at least one of each coin in circulation except for the fifty cent coin. I traded for a single fifty cent and bought a couple of rolls at the PO.

Nothing in change here either. There is a show next weekend that I plan on stocking up on all the missed ones. I've missed a lot lately. Chompin' at the bit for the Elise MacGill Hurricane loons.
