Wow DOCC, I'm hoping ANACS makes good and offers up some grading credit or refund in the amount of the difference between this current shipping fee and your usual shipping fee.

Cooled down enough to make contact Monday morning. Spoke with a wonderful CS rep who was going to leave a note for her supervisor. Nada, zero, zilch since and as such, my position stands.

I would call them several times a week asking to speak to a supervisor, if need be on your lunch break, I'd be sending them an email every day telling them you have shared your bad experience online with other collectors and hope you can report a good outcome, I'd write them a letter documenting you did not ask for that shipping. Of course don't loose your temper but as they say the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Barking at a treed cougar won't bring it down! I am willing to bet that you never even tried to Talk to Paul DeFelice or anybody in ANACS top management.

Well what did they say? I have also never had a problem with ANACS, always helpful.

It is always a bummer when these things happen ... Life.
I have had good luck with ANACS ... using a credit card, which offers some protection, might be wise.
Good luck with the "refund"
