yes, you have a ' DDO' but almost anyone can have this one because of the hub doubling - that makes it not so rare.

It is still a nice find though.

User1975, a DDO is a doubled working die, there are much less of these than a doubled working hub, which is what a WWHO is, in doubleddie.com terminology. Doubled working hubs are extremely high in numbers, as far as what was minted with them, in turn it makes them very common. Here is a link to read up on how coins are made and the things I just explained to you. Before you go any further, you should do a little studying. The link is from the same site you referenced earlier. Take your time reading and post any questions you may have as you go through it, one of us will help you.

Makecents' thank you for that detailed explanation about working hubs and thanks for letting me know about the coin. I'm a bit taken back about it though! I was excited at first thinking I had a DDO, nevermind,I'll keep looking.cheers

By the way, you have shadows in all the wrong places on your pics and I cannot even tell if you have a doubled working hub, which is irrelevant, because, as you have been told, they are very common. Just trying to help you.
