Wow! That one must have landed on a feather pillow when it was ejected. The ONLY things I can see are the tiny mark in front of Liberty's eye (on the holder?) slight scuffing around her nostril and something going on above the eagle's right wing.
If the photos are true to life, this is among the nicest Morgans I've seen. I'm guessing MS68 based on the photos. Beautiful.

Nice one, I say MS67. The 1880 S and 1881 S seem to have more high grade examples than other years, including DMPL, PL examples.

As many of you already know, this coin sat in both of Jack Lee's top Morgan dollar registry sets. I guess this is as close to perfect as Morgans get. No 70s as far as I know in this series. Do I own it? No, but it is for sale for $265,000 if you have money to burn. Not really into collecting the finest graded common coin.
