What direction is the light source coming in from? If more than one, please take another picture with only one light source coming in from an angle.

The light source is from directly above, it is the lights from around the scope.

Doesn't look like damage to me. Not seeing any metal movement.

True...and also as stated above, no evidence of the zinc core showing. Weirdness.

Any reason the pics of the Obverse are not in full color (like the reverse pic)?
That would be helpful..

Not really any need for another pic, you can easily see the shadows and light reflecting opposite the raised features of the coin.

Just a guess, but one was taken with a scope and the other was taken with a camera.

I will take more pics, they were all taken with the same scope just the difference of the height changing how close the light was to it. I do have another scope so I will try again.

I don't know if either of these help. Also does anyone think it would be worth my time or money to try to see if I could get it certified.

It appears to be struck through something like a grain of rice. I don't believe it's worth sending for grading/certification

Thanks for the additional image with angled lighting.
It is definitely incuse, most likely a struck through a 'something'. But I do see what I think in metal movement as indicated by my blue arrows.

Also does that black spot in the center correlate to the black spot on the reverse that you pointed out?

The two tiny indents on each end of the divot reminds me of a struck through a rim burr.
Coinfrog said,(over my head)...how tall are you anyways
Would an accurate weight be of any help?

Thanks for the extra pictures junior! This is a very interesting die event, to me.
Without a doubt worth a 2x2 flip, but probably not worth grading.

As stated above, strike through, a nice strike through. Not worth grading.

I say struck through error with plate shifting on northern part.
