Is there a way to short these lincoln rolls? Those prices are absurdly high.

Yes I was being a wise guy indeed, I apologize, and Graceoutcast put it in much better words

Even if you are disabled there are many better places to buy quality coins at fair prices with little risk of being taken advantage of if you are careful.

I played the link and saw the 5 and 10 oz silver bars they were selling. Just hearing those guys and their voices made me nauseous.
Personally, I would never recommend doing business with them to anyone, nor would I buy from them myself. EVER!

Wheezy.......

I agree with ya whole-heartedly, but you've got to admit.......you still find yourself watching them and their ilk on occasion. It's still a way to just "look" at coins, and for some people to "learn a bit"......even if one never intends to buy anything !
If I'm up at 2:00 am.....and those coin shows are on......I can't help myself !.....yeah.....I may laugh at their outrageous prices and scoff at them and throw stuff at my tv.........but I can't stop watchin' ! .....
It's just fun to watch modern versions of "Snake Oil Salesmen" put on their show for the unsuspecting civilian !

And why is it that whenever I say or type "Wheezy" that I think of the Jeffersons and that song gets in my head........"Movin' on up !"
...... ......

I will not pursue "cleaned coins"........esp. if it's "junk silver"....."cleaning them" should not add any extra value to them.

I think it would be neat if you got an entire year "Silver Proof Set" (with all coin denominations for that year) for all those "special years" !

Sure........but really......you need to post some good pics of them up first.....then let members "weigh in" with opinions on what to do.

Welcome to the forum.

Don't dip your silver coins in tarnex! It will not increase the value, and if the coin is worth anything over spot silver, it will decrease its value.

Most of the modern commemorative half dollars are the same CuNi clad used for circulating coinage, only a couple of them have been 90% silver and the Bald Eagle half is clad. The commemorative dollars are always 90% silver.
