I did look up the dates for when the Silverstone coins started hitting the market, and that was from the mid-2010's, so thinking this coin may be known from before those came out, which would be a good thing.

Hello again guys!
As promised:
The 1972/64 Silver quarter is finally on its way to Heritage Auction in Dallas, Texas. From there, it will enter the "FUN" auction in Orlando, Fl. The auction will be held 14-28 January 2026.
I'm very excited, and wish the new owner much happiness and enjoyment with the coin. I would also like to thank all of you in this forum again, who helped guide me through this process!
Sincerely,
eel

I just read the thread (22 pgs) and this one.
This, along with Larzs' (sure it's spelled incorrectly) threads have been the most intriguing and exciting since "I've" joined the CCF. I'm just a little confused...
It was going to ICG... I'm cool with that. It was going to PCGS...I'm cool with that. (Sponge Bob voiceover) Ten years later : )~ It ended up in an NGC holder...that's where I'm confused? Anybody able to fill in the blanks...?
I'm still going to follow this coin...it just feels like I went to the restroom during a good movie and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what happened? Thanks smat

I also read the other thread and was wondering the same thing. If it was at PCGS why did it end up in a NGC slab? Also, it was mentioned that Fred Weinberg was going to look at it. If Mr. Weinberg reviewed it what were his comments? Just curious.

Why do we have 2 different conversations on this same quarter, both now getting the same replies? How about we just concentrate on one of these 2 topics, and carry on from there and close down the other one? Here is the end of the other topic: https://goccf.com/t/29102&whichpage=22#4396916
