I forgot to come back to this topic (stupid brain)

I'm confused by the serial numbers. Your notes begin with 0574xxxx. I thought all full sheet notes started with 99xxxxx.

Great question, it took me a bit of time to see the numbers increase artier the 0574 but not with the last 2 numbers.

I hope at some point Steven can explain it to us..

I will be planning on getting these notes into a nice frame, with glass on both sides so I can display it either way..

Why the difference?

The BEP has not pulled the 99xxxxxx sheets for sale as uncut sheets since 2016.

Uncut sheets are now pulled from whatever number they decide to pull from.

That's cool Dearborn, and you gave me an idea.
I'm going to order some $1 sheets and use them as wrapping paper for birthday gifts!

I hope the document the numbers and make them easily available to thwart the fake error scammers.

That sort of reporting has not been seen from the BEP. It is only available at this point by collectors making it known from observed examples.

uspapermoney.info started to display this information based off of collector reporting but what is there is far from complete.

Very cool ... Question: When you "glass" both sides, do you hang it on a long cable/wire, so it can be flipped ? Or do you simply lean it against a wall and handle it that way ? Interested ...

I'll most likely hang it from wire that I'll connect to the top of the frame - Just like the "OPEN/CLOSED' signs we used to see in a stores front door.

BTW, just noticed this again

https://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/
Latest update: August 2020 production data added, 09/20/20.

vs.

https://www.uspapermoney.io/serials
Latest update: July 2024 production data added August 24, 2024.

.io is the later site - that it hasn't been updated in 8 months is worrisome.
