Wow - Thrilled that I won a round and have appeared once again on the season podium with a Silver Medal. Hooray for me.   It's been a long time since I've seen a podium finish in GTP. Congratulations to Petespockets55 for the season win. Well played indeed. Quote:

I would have to dig deeper to find rounds, but you have played 73 consecutive seasons, which would be 730 total rounds if none have been missed. A full season earns you 50 points minimum, and none of yours are below that, so it bodes well for you! I need to look at all the tables to cofirm... Meanwhile, only one other person has played more total seasons—Murty, at 78. But many were not full seasons as they are below 50 points. He played in 72 consecutive seasons and only one round in the 73rd before taking a break. So at 73 consecutive full seasons, you are now alone in first place having the most consecutive seasons. I have now confirmed that nickelsearcher started playing GTP in Season 19, Round 1 and has provided a guess for every single round since. |

I want to start out by first thanking JBuck. You put a lot of time into this game and we are all having fun thanks to you. Remember to go easy on yourself when things go askew. There's lots more going on in your universe we will never be able to fathom. Be kind to our friend JBuck.  Thanks for the well wishes everyone. It was a close one for sure at the end. I forgot about the tiebreakers and couldn't figure out how I got to 100 points. Congratulations to Nickelsearcher for the "Cal Ripken" streak of consecutive rounds and total points. Absolutely amazing how long you've been at it. This one had extra sentimental meaning and I'm going to dedicate it to Olivia. Nope, she's not 91. (Miss you girl.) See everybody at the next round and let's take the time to tune up our crystal balls. Have a great summer and let's hope all hurricanes this year veer out into the Atlantic. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
