My pleasure. I did keep an eye out when I checked the 1990-1999 nickels for full steps. Nothing to report there.

I picked this nickel up on ebay for five bucks. Here's a 1998-P nickel with strong FFD on the reverse. Now you have a pre-2000 example. =)

A 2021-P with reverse FFD, found CRH: Does current generation FFD only affect the anvil die?

Quote: Does current generation FFD only affect the anvil die? My census shows that both dies may exhibit Feeder Mechanism Die Damage beginning in the 1950s. Today the Reverse Die is the Hammer Die and the Obverse Die is the Anvil Die. Shuler Presses have been used since the mid 1990s and all Schuler Presses have this inverted die installation, according to the US Mint. Most Schuler Presses are horizontal stroke with only about 4 of the Philadelphia Schuler Presses with a vertical stroke installation.
