Quote: The parentheses designate the number of proof issues for that year. Thanks Spence! Makes a lot of sense. Knowledge obtained! I love it! Ok here comes the first pictures of my collection, I started with Lincoln Shield Cents Album number 7104 because it's a lot easier and faster to clean 2 pages vs 8 pages lol. While everyone is checking them out I will be getting Album 7100 ready, if your like me and don't go out much on Saturday nights well WELCOME and let's get this Album Party STARTED! Please anyone who has any questions, comments or concerns please post, I will also pull any coin anyone would like to see Obverse and Reverse photos of, just ask! Remember these are ALL collected through primarily CRH, well CRH and grabbing anything I like from the "grab a penny take a penny" anywhere I go My Mother also donates any pennies she obtains as well, she also gave me my very first wheatie, a 1953-D she found in the dirt. Thanks Momma! Maybe that's why I have a thing for the wheaties, although I only have four at the moment

Dansco Lincoln Shield cent Album 7104 Page 1: Front: Rear: Here you can see 2010-2027 of all mint locations of those years, pretty sure 2025 is going to be the last year of mintage but we will see what comes out in 2026, like if they change the date because they are minted that year, although cents have already been officially CANX as of 2025. I guess only time will tell! Page 2: Front: Rear: Here is a blank Lincoln Shield Cents page just for extra coins that I decide are worthy of my collection. I will be ordering a couple extra pages for this collection when I start filling it up! Thanks for joining me on my journey CCF! Also, if anyone is just checking this out as a guest and hasn't registered, please, JOIN the Family! It's fast, free and you can learn a whole bunch of cool information. Have a wonderful evening y'all! I hope you enjoy being here.

Here are a couple of more photos for you viewing pleasure! Page 1 Top 3 Rows: Front: Rear: Page 1 Bottom 3 Rows: Front: Rear: I also took a picture of my "GEAR" it consists of from left to right: -My penny rolling kit for searching through mixed coin and re-rolling coins, cents end up separating copper from the rest as I figured there may be some collectors who need coppers for their smashed adventures and the rest I will take back to the bank. I'll get more into my CRH adventure later. -Tomlov DM4 Lite that I will be ordering an extension arm for to be able to take complete coin photos, as the supplied mount does not let you get high enough to do. I created a slide area in the middle with the back of a sticker and used the sticker to hold it to the base because I noticed as I was inspecting coins I was scraping them as well! This was my solution -AWS-1000 to verify coin weight, mainly '82s but I also throw '83-'85ish cents on it as I have read there are very odd cases of copper planchets making it into later years of cents somehow.

Looks like you are on your way with collecting Lincoln cents - Very nice I started collecting wheat cents - when I was around 12 years old my friends and I would ride our bikes to various banks in the area and buy cent rolls and search them right there in the banks parking lots looking for wheat cents. Fun times. Now I have refined my searches to auctions where I mainly collect PCGS, NGC, and ANACS graded 1909-S, 1911-S, 1912-S, 1914-S, 1922, 1924-D, 1931-S, 1959-P & D Cameo Proofs, and 1970-S small date cents. That keeps me busy enough and doesn't break the bank (too much)

Marve65 -Thanks for the kind words and I truly appreciate your stopping in and commenting, I hope you stop in frequently and enjoy the journey being a collector of Cents. That's so cool you are on the level you are and I will be checking out your posts to see if I can see any of them! BadThad- The pleasure was all mine and thank you for the positive wishes! I really appreciate you stopping in and taking the time to post a reply, I hope you stay around and enjoy the thread! As promised here are the final photos from my Danso Dual Album collection! These are the 7100 Pages 1-8. This album is pretty full page wise but I may be able to squeeze in one extra Lincoln Cent page for extras. I already need one because I have filled up the final pages extra space with cool LMC and I know I will find more I like. I have a little under 20k pennies at my disposal, about 12.5k of those need searching but I also received 3 complete boxes of 2025-D Cents from my bank who ordered 4 boxes for me. I received 1 mixed box and the others were the 2025-D from that order. I will be offering this 2025-D coins to the CCF in the future so if you are interested stay tuned and let me know. I also got 1 box from them mixed the day I placed my order and have purchase 3 boxes from the bay. 2 of those come from Texas, 1 near the coast and 1 from the hills, as I was told. 1 of those boxes is the new style with holes and one is an older box that has the tape covering the lid keeping it closed, I believe this is an older box so I am excited to search but have a ways to go until I reach that, if anyone knows when they stopped using those boxes, the ones without holes, that would be some knowledge I would like to have. I will post pictures and add my CRH story soon. For now here are the photos of the 7100 album, the first two pages have No Cents just yet so I only took Front photos for reference where my Album is now vs in the future. Page 1: Front: Page 2: Front: Page 3: Front: Page 3: Rear: Page 4: Front: Page 4: Rear: Page 5: Front: Page 5: Rear: Page 6: Front: Page 6: Rear: Page 7: Front: Page 7: Rear: Page 8: Front: Page 8: Rear: That's it CCF! My Dansco Dual Lincoln Cent Collection as of now. I have had such a great experience picking up collecting and a lot of that awesomeness is because of being here! I want to thank everyone for checking out this thread and encourage you to post a reply and say hello! I would really like to meet and connect with as many from the CCF as possible. If your interested in Lincoln Cents or Coin Roll Hunting and you want a place that you can be open and say what you feel, you are at the right spot and you should subscribe to this Topic as I believe we will be having a good time here joking and debating Coins and putting as much knowledge out on the World Wide Web as possible! Again thank you all! -Kyle

Welcome aboard. This is the friendliest site on the net for the greatest hobby in the world. I've had a similar physical problem since 1998. It changed my life but it's been relatively seamless since I can still do many of the things I used to for a few minutes at a time. I've acquired numerous new interests and am able to stay engaged. Cents are a great collectible and in coins it's the circulating coins that have always been my first love and most enjoyable pastimes.
Good luck.

That is a great start Kyle! Keep up the great work. If you have any questions about your coins or collection, just ask, and it shall get answered, (most times by several of us here ) As I said in another topic - Thank you for your sacrifice and service as a US Marine. Sorry to hear about your back (neck) issues. Have you filed a claim with the VA to to get it rated yet? If not I think that you should do it. I, myself served 12 years in the Navy, got injured back in 1985. after filing with with the VA I finally got them to acknowledge my disabilities (now rated at 100%). a long fight, but worth every minute of it..

Thanks nickelsearcher and I am having a great time! Thanks for stopping in! Coinforme, it truly is! Thanks for dropping in! The pleasure was all mine! Cladking - really cool to hear. Yea I push through for a few minutes of normalcy as often as I can as well but luckily I consider myself, well used to, a jack of all trades. I play music and other not so intrusive to me spine things lol, thanks for stopping in and kind words, it means a lot! Dearborn- thanks for your service as well! Ive had many a good sailor buddies in my day! We are a department of the Navy you know. Not sure where it came from or if it's derogatory but I've always called them Squishy, none of them seemed to mind and to me it's a term of endearment. yes after 12 years I am there with you rating wise, I just wish they would have paid me from when I initially complained about this in '12. They should have but I'm not pushing my luck and am just happy I am where I am with the VA now. Actually they want me to have multiple surgeries at the moment, a C2-T2 fusion that I don't think I can risk until I'm close to paralysis and just recently an L5-S1 ALIF that I am really considering, having been on Short Term Disability from work due to an injury coming down a Jet. I just really don't like the idea of having anyone play around inside my body. I had a small piece of bone removed from my ankle in 2010 and it was considered not intrusive and very minor surgery and the pain that I still deal with frequently is horrible. The other surgeries all have to do with my spine and I just, I can't imagine the pain and really don't want to give my already damaged meat bag vessel any other reasons to send PAIN signals to my brain. I do think I will have to have the ALIF on my lower back because it really is affecting my quality of life, even though I am trying to make the best of it. I do believe there may be another option for my lower back that is called ADR (Axxxxx Disk Replacement) vs the ALIF(fusion) that may be better for me and the ADR is newer tech but also heals faster etc. I should know here soon what route I will be taking, I have an appointment with VA neurosurgeon and we will be talking about the surgery and also will be getting a consultation for the Top DOGS at Cedars Sinai Hospital to do the surgery hopefully, supposedly Cedars is the BEST and I'm definitely not letting the VA doc play with my spine when he can't even make PowerPoints using the most up to date imaging! This is what my spine looks like.,.,,

Thanks for stopping in jbuck, glad your around and thanks for the positive vibes!
Dearborn & coinforme , sadly I don't think there is much they can do surgically for me, I know that once I'm to a certain point, near paralysis, then the risk will no longer outweigh reward and I will go forward with cervical spine surgery. Until then the best I can do is mitigate symptoms and not put myself in a position to hurt my spine, hence my ALL OR NOTHING collecting cent hobby. Honestly, I'm loving it.
I will be adding some CRH info here that I feel has been left out in the CRH etiquette posts I've read. They talk about coin pickup and dump but don't really explain what they do from opening rolls to how they go through their coin etc. so I will be posting what I do and hopefully we can get some good knowledge on how to maximize time and not miss any valuable coins!
Let's GET It CCF!
