I realize that. Sometimes if something seems off it may be worth it to spend a few extra bucks. Not a big deal.

Can't comment with those photos. The coin looks bent with a crease above Miss Liberty's head, and the bumped out area in STATES.

I know Whatnot and there are no deals to be made. Everyone seems to overpay on everything that sells.

Thanks for coming back with a better image.
Hard to tell what happened here - these dimes are usually so worn down.
It could have been a die chip that got worn flat along with the rest of the design elements.

Have another interesting update on this. Apparently according to the only source I have found, it is a Repunched date. Info on https://www.heritagestatic.com. Now what grading company would attributes this?...who knows. Ideas?

Even if that is what this is, it's nowhere near worth grading. It's only worth $15 in VF, which this coin is nowhere near. This coin is G4 at best; Liberty is obliterated.
