Quote: I recently completed the 2001 - 2007 coloured coin series of Silver Maple Leafs with Colour I too have that series and they are most attractive in hand. There are a number of $5 dollar 1 oz. silver coin series (eg. Canadian Wildlife Series) that were very reasonable in price .... before the rapid escalation of silver market value. .

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! Quote: I too have that series and they are most attractive in hand. There are a number of $5 dollar 1 oz. silver coin series (eg. I enjoy having a set of the coloured Maple Leaf coins in my collection as well.
I posted about them a few years back:

Nicely put together sets. Probably worth about 3 times what you paid for them with the recent silver surge.

Thank you for showcasing. IMO the 2001-2007 series is almost perfect. Wish though, RCM used back in the time more modern technologies, less pixelized colouring. I had them together with 2008-2012 Raindrop Maple Leaves and sold at the time when felt that do not need so many coins lying around in the boxes.

Of course, there's always room for improvement, but I think the Mint did a good job with the coins "back in the day." They exceeded, IMO, the quality of multiple colourized coins from other mints of the time.

@ commems, Not only did you display your colourized coins, but you also provided information (beneficial) about them in your thread, which shows your effort and dedication to this hobby.
