I though Wyoming was the worst, although New Mexico was bad too. I thought it was a microchip or something when I first saw it. I liked the tree one (I think it was Connecticut) the most myself.

Alaska is the best ! I liked Utah, New Mexico, and Deleware too. But yeah......the Wyoming qtr. sucked.....nice original idea kind of.....sort of .......but it just didn't quite work......and it's too "plain" overall. It wasn't "busy" enough in the field details. Simple and plain "could've" still worked.....but it just DIDN'T in this case ! And I was sadened by this too.....because Wyoming is one of my favorite states to visit ! .......historically that state is very interesting too.......so, it was a huge let-down for me.

Alaska, Connecticut, Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Vermont are the only truly beautiful designs in my opinion. The rest range from good to downright unfortunate (Wyoming, Kansas). Michigan even surpasses Wyoming in terms of boring-ness. It's just a map of the state!

My favorite is Vermont; I also like Alaska and Connecticut. Wyoming...a beautiful state with an ugly quarter! I don't like New Hampshire's reverse either!

They could have put Devil's Tower on the Wyoming Quarter instead of their license plates' cowboy logo!

I will say that there are a few very nice ones, I believe that the Charter Oak, Connecticut, is probably one of the best, followed by Vermont, I like trees.....

I like Colorado! Colorful Colorado! What a nice slogan! I really don't like the CA quarter. Who was John Muir? And why does it have so many words?

In 1849, the year before California gained statehood, the family of 11-year-old John Muir emigrated from Scotland to the United States, settling in Wisconsin. In 1868, at the age of 30, Muir sailed up the West Coast and landed in San Francisco. He made his home in the Yosemite Valley, describing the Sierra Nevada Mountains as "the Range of Light#65533; the most divinely beautiful of all the mountain chains I have seen." He devoted the rest of his life to the conservation of natural beauty, publishing more than 300 articles and 10 books that expanded his naturalist philosophy.
In 1890, Congress established Yosemite National Park, and in 1892 John Muir helped form the Sierra Club to protect it, serving as that organization#65533;s President until his death in 1914.

Muir is one of the most interesting people you can read about. And, if you're a "tree hugger," you'll love Muir as the originator of the Sierra Club.
