They don't need an error, they have the lowest mintages in the last 40 years or more. And so far each one has been lower than the one before.

I have encountered only *one* DC quarter, and I'm about burned out on collecting quarters and searching for the latest. I wish they'd go back to the pre-'99 design.

I don't. Only because I love saying that my 1932~1998 Washington quarter collection is complete.

But if they did go back, that set would still be "complete" in my mind!

Yes they will be struck in silver as well. I expect their mintages to be higher than in recent years though since the demand for the proof sets will be higher than normal because of the copper cents in the full silver sets, and the low mintages of the circulation strikes.
Rest in Peace

Luckily, I have a clerk friend who watches out for me. Gave me two DC's and two Puerto Ricos today.

I haven't found a single Washington, DC quarter yet, but I've gathered quite a few BU Puerto Rico-D's from stores.

Got my first territorial Quarters today. Got a Puerto Rico in change from a bank when I picked up some half dollars and another bank had BU Guams (4 coin limit).

I get a decent amount of DCs and Puerto Ricos in the register at work. I have yet to see a Guam in circulation and so I went to the bank and got myself a roll of uncirculated Guams.
